MOULANA KHATANI’S DEVIATION
Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said, “The best Jihad is the speech of truth in the face of an oppressive ruler.” [Ibn Majah]
A voice clip of Ml. Khatani from Durban is currently circulating social media, wherein he purportedly tried to pacify someone by speaking with a forked tongue. Whether the man spoke out of fear for some impimpi (spy) or to pacify the medical fraternity, or to show solidarity with the government’s Haraam protocols that they expect us to adhere to in our Musaajid, he did a sterling job of exposing his nifaaq and lack of fear for Allah Rabbul Izzat, by openly challenging explicit Ahaadith of Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) in the House of Allah Ta`ala!
Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) warned us about being ‘two-faced’. Our Deen is One. The Qur`aan Majeed is One. The Sunnah is One. It does pain us to see someone who spent the major portion of his life propagating the Sunnah of Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) and emphasising the Greatness of Allah Ta`ala, speak drivel so brazenly in The House of Allah Ta`ala by disparaging the Mubarak Sunnah!
At the outset, we as Muslims should understand the following well:
Allah Ta`ala declares in His Kalaam that whatever Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) speaks is not from his own desire, but it is WAHI (Divine Revelation). Keeping this in mind, we understand that the Ahaadith Shareef are teachings directly from Allah Rabbul Izzat!
In the Qur`aan Majeed, Allah Ta`ala explicitly instructs us to hold on to whatever His Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) brings to us and to abstain from what he (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) prohibits. These are crystal clear teachings from the Qur`aan Majeed.
Now, the Nabi of Allah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) has, in authentic Ahaadith, ordered us to close the gaps in the sufoof (rows) during congregational Salaat and he (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) explicitly forbade performing Salaat with the mouth covered.
To sum this up….it is HARAAM and TOTALLY IMPERMISSIBLE to perform Salaat with a mask on and also to practice social distancing in the Musjid. These are clear and unambiguous instructions DIRECTLY from Allah Ta`ala. Nobody has the right to alter Divine Injunctions. Least of all the disbelievers. Not even the greatest sufi, mujtahid or even Prophet can alter Divine Decree.
The government and their lawmakers must understand this well. Our first and ONLY allegiance is to our Creator. We can obey the laws of men, as long as it does not oppose Divine Decree. When there is a conflict between man-made law and Divine Law, there is no hesitation for any Muslim as to which he will practice upon.
The Molvi Saheb must understand the above and also take note of the Hadith cited right at the top of this article. If he said what he said to appease some treacherous spies, zindeeq trustees or disbelieving medical cabal, he should have taken the path of Imaan and honour and declare the Haqq unapologetically!
If he feared retribution, as many do nowadays, then he should have stuck to the usual six points in his talk, thereby not ‘trampling on the toes’ of his overlords and superiors.
LOOKING DOWN ON THOSE WHO WEAR MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCE
The confused Molvi Saheb alluded in his talk that those who do not wear masks should not look down on those who do. What rubbish he speaks! It has been authentically reported that Hadhrat Saalim bin Abdillah (rahmatullahi alaih), the grandson of Hadhrat Umar (radhiallahu anhu), would yank the face covering off anyone he saw performing Salaat. Those are our seniors that we take lesson from. When our Beloved Rasul of Allah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) clearly, in numerous authentic Ahaadith, ordered standing shoulder to shoulder in Salaat, where does this total non-entity, who advertises his jet-setting lifestyle in the Musjid, have the gall to tell Muslims not to look down at those who wish to practice social distancing?? It is not an issue of ‘looking down’ at the perpetrators of flagrant haraam. It is Amr Bil Ma’roof Nahy Anil Munkar, and Bugz Lillaah, the lowest degree being abhorrence in the heart. Haraam must be abhorred. If not, it displays lack of Imaan since Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said that abhorrence in the heart is the lowest degree of Imaan.
The hypocrite says that if someone wants to wear the mask (in the Musjid for Salaat), then “Alhamdulillah!”. We say: “Astaghfirullah! Laa Howla wa Laa Quwwata”. He must renew his Imaan. How can he say “Alhamdulillah” (thereby praising Allah Ta`ala) for someone who openly opposes a clear Hadith???? His insinuation is pure unadulterated kufr! The expression of “Alhamdulillah” for flagrant HARAAM is kufr. The Molvi Sahib should renew his Imaan and his Nikah.
He implies that the person who wears a mask has the same tawakkul as one who does not wear a mask…..what utter drivel! The person who performs Salaat with a mask obviously has NO Imaan, leave alone Tawakkul! Wearing a mask in Salaat, not only negates the Salaat because it contradicts a Saheeh Hadith prohibiting the same, but the wearing of the mask denotes belief in the concept of contagion, whereas Allah Ta`ala clearly teaches us through His Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) that “There is NO contagion.”
Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said that the lowest form of Imaan is to despise an act of disobedience in the heart. We must “look down” at those who dare perform Salaat with a filthy stinking face mask, because our Beloved (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) forbade covering the mouth in Salaat. This Molvi Saheb is literally asking people to discard their Imaan by not looking down at such miscreants. The confused Molvi Saheb is clearly propagating that Muslims sink to a level below the lowest Imaan! He is propagating kufr!
SALAAT WITH A HAZMAT SUIT !!
The unfortunate Molvi Saheb advocates the permissibility of wearing a Hazmat suit in the Musjid. Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajioon. How can a supposed ‘Alim’ propagate something that negates the Salaat! A Hazmat suit prevents fulfilling the conditions of Sujood, which is Fardh in Salaat. The nose and forehead cannot touch the ground when a person is wearing a comical Hazmat suit! Salaat with a Hazmat suit is NOT valid AT ALL! Here again, wearing a stupid Hazmat suit during Salaat in the Musjid, negates the Imaan because it denotes belief in the contagion fallacy! It is also an insult to Allah Ta`ala because Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) tells us in a Saheeh Hadith that the visitors to the Musjid are the Guests of Allah Ta`ala and that Allah Ta`ala makes it binding upon Himself to honour His guests. Does Imaan allow that a person believes Allah Ta`ala will ‘honour’ His guest in His House with a disease??? Laa Howla!
TWO SUITS OF ARMOUR
The blatant stupidity and deceit of the Hazmat Molvi Saheb just gets more and more apparent as he progresses in his baatil talk. He compares wearing a Hazmat suit in the Musjid during Salaat to our Beloved Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) wearing two suits of armour on the battlefield. O you decrepit Molvi Saheb! Understand the difference well… Allah Ta`ala instructs that the Mu`mineen arm themselves adequately for battle. This means having the best of arms, shields, horses, etc. This is clearly advocated in the Qur`aan Majeed. On the other hand, Allah Ta`ala teaches through His Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) that we perform Salaat without a mouth-covering. There is no need for interpretations or even comparisons here. The injunctions and prohibitions are clear and unambiguous. By citing this spurious analogy between wearing masks and Hazmat suits for Salaat to Nabi’s (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) suits of armour is not merely stupid, it is purposely deceitful. It cannot be construed as an error on the part of the Molvi Saheb. It is pure deception and shaitaani misguidance! Is there anywhere this agent of Iblees can prove that Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) or his Sahaabah (radhiallahu anhum) EVER wore their armour or hazmat-like suits or covered their faces in Salaat when plagues overtook them??? This analogy of his is so deceitful and meant to cause deviation from Siraatul Mustaqeem, that he must seriously consider renewing his Imaan. Such orators are a danger to our Ummat!
“STAY HOME IF YOU HAVE A RUNNING NOSE”
The misguided orator then makes a “humble appeal” and audaciously says, “this is not up for debate”. He advises people who display flu-like symptoms, like (an insignificant) running nose, sore throat, or “whatever it is”, to remain at home and not come to the Musjid. What a devious Shaytaanul Ins he has proven himself to be. Where did he get any right to debar those with trivial ailments from the House of Allah Ta`ala! An insignificant creation spawned from an impure clot of blood, has the audacity to oppose a Waajib act! Performing Salaat in
the Musjid for men is COMPULSORY. All his pitiful life, this same person has propagated attendance to Jamaat Salaat. He must have read the same countless times in Tablighi Nisaab.
It constitutes the second point of their basic Usool (principles of Tabligh). Never mind that, the very objective of their going on Ghusht is to bring the men to the Musjid! And now he somersaults on all that. For what? For whom? Upholding the Haqq does not even put his insignificant life in danger! Why sell the Deen in this miserable fashion? He has basically ‘poured water’ over all his efforts of the past.
Why does he advocate remaining at home when displaying slight symptoms of flu? Because he believes this illness will pass on to other Musallis? This flies flat into the face of what he may have been preaching most of his life. The famous mantra of Tablighis is that “Allah Does!”. Yes, that is the fact. ONLY Allah Ta`ala does! The illness will ONLY transmit if and when Allah Ta`ala decrees. Hazmat Molvi must have read in countless places, including his Tablighi Nisaab that Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) came to Musjid carried on the shoulders of two Sahaabah (radhiallahu anhum) when he was ill. Now this agent of Deception advocates remaining at home for a running nose??? Inna Lillahi… The Shariah of Islam teaches that even if a person is tested positive for Covid19, but he is fit and able, he must go to the Musjid for congregational Salaat! Where is your Imaan, O Hazmat Molvi?
He says that Muslims should not be looked upon as being “irresponsible”. He implies here that we must adhere to kuffaar guidelines and protocols in the Musaajid. O Hazmat Molvi! Know that disobedience to the clear, unambiguous and Waajib Divine Injunctions is the epitome of irresponsibility! A responsible Muslim adheres to Divine Injunctions…even in the face of oppression!
We urge that he does some “introspection” and repent for the drivel he regurgitated in that talk of his. He must renew his Imaan and Nikah for having disparaged and made istikhfaaf (belittled) the Blessed Hadith of Nabi-e-Kareem (sallallahu alaihi wasallam). And finally, he MUST retract the rubbish he spewed forth. His little talk will be the cause of many losing their Imaan if they adhere to his corrupt notions. A simple retraction by him to the same audience he disgorged his shaitaani whisperings to and an encouragement that this retraction and repentance of his be circulated to his audience on social media, will go a long way in undoing the damage he has wreaked on the Ummah!
We make dua Allah Ta`ala opens his eyes to his folly and save us all from the evil of shaitaan and the naffs.
