Masjid Awards???

MASJID AWARDS????

A PORTENT OF QIYAAMAT!

Hadhrat Anas (radhiallahu anhu) reports that Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said, “The Hour (Qiyaamat) will not dawn until people vie (contest, have competitions) regarding their Musaajid.” [Abu Dawood]

In true emulation of the kuffaar, and in keeping with the words of Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) that the believers will imitate the kuffaar and follow them into the lizard’s hole – Radio “Islam” (which in reality is an appendage of shaitaan) has announced an accretion dubbed, “Masjid Awards”.

It baffles the mind how these people think! Their brains have become totally convoluted with the touch of shaitaan. The entire radio scene is corrupt to the core. They indulge in all sorts of haraam, fisq and fujoor on a daily basis – intermingling of sexes, prostitution of women, porn, disregard and disrespect for the Tilaawat of Qur’aan Majeed, music, singing, play and amusement. The curse of Allah Jalle Jalaalahu descends daily on all those who participate in this Radio “Islam” twaddle and also on those who waste and wile their time listening to it.

Interspersing a few ‘Deeni’ talks and Qur`aan Tilaawat with all the other trash they spew out on a daily basis, is an insult to our beautiful Deen and a scourge on this Ummat! They soil the Name of Allah Ta`ala, Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) and our Deen when they literally sell their Imaan by bartering Islam for this carrion world!

Their few ‘Islamic’ utterances and Qur`aan Tilaawat can be compared to an inebriated fellow giving a bayaan! The stench from his mouth and his intoxicated state will drive any true believer away and not only will his words have no effect, he will be punished for his blatant disrespect and disregard for the sanctity of the Deen.

This Radio station has once again shown the Ummah its true colours by literally enacting a Sign of Qiyaamat. Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) explicitly said that a sign of Qiyaamat is when people compete with regard to their Musaajid! The words of the Hadith are clear, explicit and unambiguous. Whilst some may interpret the Hadith as referring to the building of Musaajid, the words do not single out this aspect only. The Hadith is general in its application. This miscreant Radio Station is stupidly pitting all Musaajid against one another. For what? Name, fame and kuffaar emulation!

According to a Hadith, Musaajid have been built for the remembrance of Allah Ta`ala. The primary objective of a Musjid is to perform Salaat. Whilst waiting for Salaat, some people may engage in silent Thikr, Tilaawat of Qur`aan and at times, Deeni discourses take place from the Mimbar. That is a Musjid! What is there to compete in?

Any and all Deeni activity that takes place – be it in a Musjid or elsewhere – is executed solely for the pleasure of Allah Ta`ala. Competing in Ibaadat for worldly accolades and awards is the very antitheses of Ikhlaas. What drives these Radio Station miscreants to initiate such competitions is beyond the comprehension of any normal Muslim.

This “Masjid Awards” drivel which the Radio Station has initiated, will ultimately lead to another sign of Qiyaamat – Muslims will now stupidly vie with one another to see whose Musjid is better than the other. In the process, they will lose the very objective for which they have built the Musaajid and barter away their Imaan and rewards in order to gain worldly name, fame and awards.

Hadhrat Abdullah bin Umar (radhiallahu anhuma) reports:

Such a time will befall this Ummat when they will gather in the Masaajid, and they will perform Salaat, but there will not be a single Mu`min amongst them.[Mustadrak, page 442, vol.4].

May Allah Ta`ala guide all those who have been duped by tricks of shaitaan and those who are enamoured by the lives of the kuffaar, to return to the True Deen and to worship Allah Ta`ala as He deserves to be worshipped.
